Two UK students, Josh Lake and Luke Evans, ate 35mm film and were able to process photos after the film, erm, came out!
when an artist wants to show you their art
or a writer wants you to read what they’ve written
it’s quite often an expression of trust
because a poem or a story or a painting are often things that come from the heart
little pieces of the artists themselves
and if they’re willing to share it with you
you should appreciate it

On view through May 27 at Tokyo’s Mori Art Museum is the first large-scale solo exhibition of Asia’s leading female artist, Lee Bul. Spanning two decades of Lee’s career, the show, From Me, Belongs to You Only, includes a reconstruction of Lee’s studio and over 200 pieces evoking the artist’s fascination with popular culture, feminine identity, and modern technology. After the Mori, the show will tour internationally including North America and South Korea.
